FEATURED BLOG POST
Mission, Vision, and Core Values
Everything we do is a reflection of our organization’s mission, vision, and core values. This is true whether we intend it or not. And it can work either for or against us.
If our mission, vision, and core values are unclear, so will be our marketing. If they are unfocused, we’re more likely to chase after fundraising dollars that will take us off-track.
In this post — the first in a new series — we look at how mission, vision, and core values are distinct from one another and yet inseparable too.
Plus, we tell a parable about a sailor.
OUR TEAM IS NOW YOUR TEAM
the resourceful community
Fund your cause.
Pursue your mission.
Love your work.
Here at The Resourceful Community, we write, teach, and coach in the areas of fundraising, organizational development, marketing, and leadership.
We do all this through the lens of abundance.
Whether you are here as a busy staff person wearing multiple hats at your nonprofit, a dedicated volunteer at your local school or church, or a passionate neighborhood practitioner, we want to help you see what we see: that there is abundant provision for your abundant community.
Your organization is doing important work to make the world a better place. And your role is essential to that work. Thanks for letting us be a small part of it.
Love Mondays Again
You shouldn’t have to choose between loving the world and loving your work.
Every Monday, we send our community an email that is equal doses practical and inspirational. You’ll get updates on our new blog posts, of course. You’ll also receive exclusive tools and tips, as well as curated links from around the web.
It’s good news. A regular dose of abundant goodness. An email newsletter you’ll actually want to read.
